You arrive at the restaurant.
The owner/manager greets you by name, says it’s wonderful to see you again, and asks if you would like your “usual” table. It’s important that this be a very friendly greeting, not like a Mafia Boss, but more like best friends.
As soon as you are seated your drink is placed before you, without you having ordered at all.
Once again, the waiter should say “so glad to see you again, Jeff!”
Flowers or Candles are brought specially to your table.
The waiter expresses delight at seeing you again, and asks if you would like your favorite entre for dinner.
The punchline to this fabulous treatment is a true knockout!
At the completion of dinner, you thank the waiter, stand and wave goodbye to the owner and manager, thank him or her for another wonderful meal, and walk out without ever being presented with our paying a tab!

This date is a great First Date!
It’s also a good “Ambush Date”!
If you don’t know, an Ambush Date is one you can, or even should do without telling your partner what you are up to.
The Hotel Kidnapping, Whipped Cream Assault, and others fall in the Ambush Date category.
These are fun for both partners because one gets to relax and go along for the ride. The other gets to be totally in control.
Since opposites attract, the Ambush Date is popular as a dating style.
Here’s how it is done ~
For the restaurant Date you must meet either the manager or owner of an upscale restaurant.
The nicer the better, and the more friendly the staff the better.
Someone who will value clients who appreciate them and refer more business.
Many of these restaurants enjoy entertaining, and flamboyant gestures are what they live for!
You prepare a 3 x 5 card with ~
- Your name
- Your photo (so they recognize you)
- Your address, telephone and other contact data
- Your favorite drink
- The food from the menu that you want to be served
- How you want it, Rare, Medium or Well Done, whatever.
You provide the flowers or candles you want brought to the table.
The owner/manager can keep the card handy for when they see you come in.
After you come in, the staff just uses your card to see what drink to bring, what order you want, whether it’s rare, medium or well done, it’s all on the card!
Your credit card or billing info can be on file, or you can have your credit card in a greeting card envelope (this touch is priceless) You hand the waiter a real thank you card with your credit card inside.
The thank you card thanks the staff sincerely for helping you pull off an Amazing Date, then instructs them to run your card and add a tip of 20%
Then you excuse yourself to wash up. While in the back, find the waiter to sign the bill on the sly!
The Amazing Effect of this Date cannot be truly appreciated until you see it for yourself.
I have had several restaurants do it for me over the years, and it is equally impressive for business clients.
But this Date cannot be beat for a First Date.
P.S. The next time you go in there, be prepared to have Everyone ask you how the date went.
Be lavish in praising the staff, you will be a celebrity there forever!
