Here are some great ideas you probably knew and forgot.

    Gift certificates for romance, like ~

  • Candle Lit Tub

You don’t buy the gift certificates, you make them from blank cards or decorated papers.

  • Get a romantic movie with a hot love scene and re-enact it! (Very reliable, trust us!)

    • The romantic movie re-enact suggestion list ~

  • Refrigerator scene from “8 1/2 weeks” where one is blindfolded and the other give little tastes of food
  • The “Pleasure can be Pleasurable Scene” from “Bruce Almighty” (freaking hilarious, even funnier if you re-enact it, we swear!
  • The dance lesson/dry humping scene from “Dirty Dancing” candles and all

We may be coming from a different place, since we have kids and 20 years of Christmas with them, but for us a quiet room, candles and wine go a long, long way.

Sometimes just sitting there one of us will start quoting the movies we talked about. Guys you will love playing “Bruce Almighty”, pointing a finger and just say “pleasure can be very…. pleasurable”.

If you can break the ice a bit with something a bit silly, more exciting experiences are possible, and the escape from the hassles of everyday life gets it started.

Believe me guys, a stressed out woman is NOT a horny woman (or even a happy woman), lighten her load as much as you can, make some plans, and just chill for a while.

Love and romance keep you healthy, happy and more secure in your family. It’s worth the investment to work on it, prepare special time, get special candles, drinks, clothes, whatever you like and do it!
